Stake Conference

Don't Forget... Next week is Stake Conference.  We sadly will not be having Sunday School.  We would like to encourage you to look at the remaining lesson topics we were not able to cover this month.

Next month we will start our study on the Atonement of Christ.  I know that this can be a very powerful experience for all of us as we learn more about our Savior's sacrifice.  I would encourage each of you to ask yourself  and discus with your family the following questions:

• What is the Atonement of Christ?
• Why do I need the Atonement of Christ?
• What does it offer me? 
• How do I effectively utilize this gift?
• What does the Atonement of Jesus Christ mean to me?

We will be starting with the lesson How can I use the words of living prophets and apostles to strengthen my faith in the Atonement of Jesus Christ? 

I would like to recommend that you take a few minutes and watch a few videos of our Prophet and Apostles and their Special Witnesses of Christ.

Lessons This Month

We have had two amazing lessons so far this month.  The first lesson was How can I use church music to learn about the Plan of Salvation?  The second lesson was Why is learning an important part of Heavenly Father's Plan?

Please remember to finish reading the information page on the Plan of Salvation we used in the lesson.

The choices we have left for lessons this month (only one Sunday School lesson left this month because we have Stake Conference) are:

Welcome to our Sunday School Blog!

     We are so excited to be working with each of you.  It is an exciting time that we have to spend learning and growing together.  Trust us when we say, "we learn and grow just as much as each of you" every single Sunday. 
       We both know that as we study these topics our testimony and understanding of the gospel grows.  We want to invite each of you to join with us on our weekly study.  By studying daily we can better prepare ourselves for our discussion on the Sabbath.  The more we participate in a well thought out discussion the more we can learn from each other.
     Each of you has something wonderful to contribute to our class.  Therefore, we eagerly wait to hear what you have studied during the week.  
     Please be patient with us as we learn this new blog format.  We will do our best to keep you updated on the topic for the week.  We may post talks that we want you to print off and read/study.  There may be videos to watch or ideas to consider.  We also welcome your comments here.  Maybe you have recognized the hand of our Heavenly Father and want to share it with us.   We would LOVE to hear it. Remember to bring your physical scriptures, a marking utensil, and your journal/study notebook with you every Sunday.   And last but not least remember to check back here regularly.
